A - Yes & No. But, yes because we
originally come from Iran, and are
dedicated to her ideals & aspirations as a proud nation. And
no, in the
sense
that we are based overseas and are having only a liaison
office
representing us within Iran.

A - Our head office is based outside of
Iran. But, we also have a local office,
which
fronts our dealings with the Iranian market, and those

A - The internet property belongs to
Petropolis Enterprises Inc., a BVI Int’l
business
establishment, and our holding company.
Q – Is Petroleumiran affiliated to the local
Gov’t sector ?
A - Petroleumiran is an entirely
private and fully independent website, and
although
it proudly serves the Iranian petroleum industry, as a
free-lance
information
directory, it is not, by any tangible or intangible means,
officially or unofficially, related or affiliated to the
gov’t of the Islamic
Republic
of Iran; Other than covering the News and Events surrounding
it,
and
discussing it’s industrial & economic policies.
Q – Does Petroleumiran sell anything ( e.g.
Petroleum related / Petrochemical products ) ?
A – We do Not sell anything, other than the
image of our own, which we
advertise.
However, we have certain data available only on chargeable
basis, which
means we do eventually sell information, but in the form of
online
subscribed material. We may even entertain bespoke
information
regarding the
Iranian petroleum marketplace. However, we by No means
market, or
wish to sell any Petroleum-related / Petrochemical product,
as
that is the sole
responsibility of the Iranian National Petrochemical Co.
( NPC ) and it’s
Commercial Co. ( IPCC ) and to be conducted by their
worldwide
branches . We nonetheless, have a section, describing it’s
products for
those who’d wish to approach the NPC directly ( Pls see

section ).
Q – Why did you create this website ?
A – A conventional answer would be, because
there was a need for it – which
is actually
very true, as despite we weren’t the first, to start
thinking about
it, we’d like
to think, so far, we’re the only team that’s actually
accomplished
this mission, in it’s true sense. This isn’t to say, that
we’re
finished yet.
As we’ve just started, and there’s a lot to be demanded and
accordingly
offered.
The
unconventional answer, would be that we just felt like it -
to see if it
can be done
like this. So far, it’s been promising.
Of course, you
will be the judge of that, in every respect.
Q – Our Goals ?
A – Now that’s a pretty loaded question, like
the one before. But, we’ll humor
you with the
honesty of commonsense. As the Web becomes ever larger

complex a place, to find relevant and well-sorted

efficiently & effortlessly for internet users, we have
sought to enable our
visitors
to access the most pertinent information regarding the
Iranian
Petroleum and Power industries through a user-friendly
portal. However
ironic,
our featured functionalities far exceed that of merely
Iran’s
Petroleum related issues, as we are in, in fact, showcasing

data on our country, and well beyond. Of course, you should

A – We earn it, well-deservedly, by the
advertisements we receive and
through
our subscription fees. Of course we also have a sponsor,
which
happens to be our sister company.

Q – If you are based outside of Iran, then
how can you be so sure, your information are up-to-date ?
A – No doubt, one does not need to be present
in Iran to know any of the
information
we present – as is the case with many foreign information
directories. However, we not only have ourselves represented
in Iran, via
our
liaison office, we also have a sister company -named Pars
Terminal -
which is
an Iran registered company, and a project-themed sales’
technology firm, based in Tehran. And which has been
interacting with
the oil,
gas, petrochemical & power industries for the past 13 years.
Hence,
our confidence that what’s showcased IS as it really IS.
Q – What are your News sources ?
A - Another trick question it is. But,
as it’s already recognizable by our News
Tags, our
resources are a combination of both foreign and domestic
news
sources.
If it’s the int’l coverage, our choices would naturally be
the most
prestigious foreign news sources. However, for local
stories, which are
most
important for our viewers and ourselves, our top sources
would be
directly
the National Iranian Oil Co. ( NIOC ), National Iranian Gas
Co.
( NIGC
), Iranian National Petrochemical Co. ( NPC ) and the Iran
Power
Development Co. ( IPDC / Tavanir ), as well as their
official mouthpieces
and
publications. In addition, we also have our own news team,
which
participate in most events and file live reports. Guess
that’s as good as it gets.

your involvement with the various oil, gas, petrochemical
and power events, you cover in your “ Events “ page?
A – We are not organizing or managing any
event by ourselves. That would
be
incongruous to being what we are. A web-directory for these
industries. However as part of our main activities, we do
cover the
majority
of local Petroleum sector and Power industry –related events
(
Conferences, Seminars, Exhibitions,…etc. ), in the form of
Media
Sponsor.
Perhaps, that’s an added reason, why we can be sure we have
them all
covered. In addition, we may also render media support
packages, to a number of Iranian conferences held overseas.
But that’s
